Cath Atherton

Meet Cath! Cath manages “the wash” here at Erlson.

The wash is, as it sounds, the place where finished components go to have their final clean and inspection before going out to customers. 

Cath has managed this process for the last 7 to 8 years after starting out working in the thrust bearing section. 

With a total of 20 years’ service, Cath credits that to the people she works with and the job she has saying; “I love that I am left to get on with my job, I’m just happy to work away without any fuss.”

She knows her job well and enjoys the camaraderie with her colleagues and although she has seen a fair few retire in recent years Cath’s son also works at Erlson and she see’s new people starting all the time.
