Erlson Precision Components has extensive experience in the manufacture of Hydrogen Fuel Cell Compressors including compressor wheels, shafts and journal bearings.
Fuel cell compressors are increasingly being used as a means of generating electricity to run electric motors on a fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) and are available for a wide range of applications within rail, aerospace and commercial vehicles.
Our primary capabilities here at Erlson, have always been to specialise in turbine wheels, shafts, bearings and compressor wheels for turbochargers, something that directly correlates with fuel cell technology. With our extensive product knowledge and experience in supplying some of the largest OEMs and Tier 1 companies in the industry, we are ideally suited to produce fuel cell parts to a very high standard with extremely tight tolerances.
We can help you with your capacity to produce up to 1 million parts per year and can manufacture in materials including; aluminium, titanium, 17/4 PH stainless steel, various EN steels and 42CrMo4.
We can achieve turning of shafts tolerances of +/- 0.002mm and can supply compressor wheels machined from solid or cast.
